Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary medical care to patients in Out-Patient (OPD) and In-Patient (IPD) departments.
- Assess patient health, diagnose illnesses, and formulate effective treatment plans under supervision.
- Assist senior doctors and specialists during medical procedures and ward rounds.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including case histories and treatment charts.
- Manage medical emergencies efficiently as part of the resident medical team.
- Participate in academic sessions, case presentations, and hospital meetings to enhance clinical knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A recognized MBBS degree from an institution approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Must have completed a one-year compulsory rotating internship.
- Valid and current registration with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC).
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of the interview date. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with less than one year of experience as a Junior Resident in any government hospital will be given preference.

Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will be placed in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.
- Starting Salary: Rs. 56,100 per month.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500.
- Additional Benefits: Other allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA) will be admissible as per government regulations. This role provides an opportunity to work in a structured government healthcare system.
