Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on high-speed rarefied compressible fluid dynamics.
• Develop, validate, and utilize a hybrid particle-continuum solver for complex simulations.
• Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to study flow physics around an aerofoil.
• Process and analyze simulation data to derive meaningful scientific conclusions.
• Prepare technical reports, research manuscripts, and presentations for conferences.
• Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to meet project milestones and objectives.
• Assist in the maintenance of computational resources and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

• A B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a valid GATE score.
• OR an M.E./M.Tech degree in a relevant engineering specialization.
• The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years as of the application deadline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong theoretical knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Numerical Methods.
• Proven programming proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools and simulations.

Salary and Benefits

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship of ₹37,000/-. In addition to the fellowship, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the prevailing government norms, offering comprehensive financial support.
