Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior faculty in preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Conduct and supervise practical classes in Food Technology, Food Engineering, and related subjects.
- Evaluate and grade student assignments, lab reports, and examination papers.
- Support the department in developing and updating course curriculum and learning materials.
- Assist in departmental research projects and other academic activities as assigned.
- Provide academic support and guidance to undergraduate students.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) or a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in one of the following disciplines: Food Process Engineering, Food Technology, Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Microbiology, or Food Chemistry & Nutrition.
- Minimum age of 21 years as of the interview date.
- Maximum age of 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching or research experience in a university or college setting.
- Published research papers in reputable academic journals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly remuneration is based on the highest educational qualification:
For Ph.D. Holders: ₹45,000/- per month.
For M.Sc. Holders: ₹40,000/- per month.
As this is a temporary appointment for one academic year, benefits will be as per the university’s norms for contractual staff.
