Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research on the combustion properties of gelled hypergolic propellants.
- Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and combustion modelling using software like ANSYS Fluent or COMSOL.
- Analyze chemical kinetics and reaction mechanisms relevant to the project scope.
- Assist in setting up and conducting experiments related to experimental fluid dynamics.
- Meticulously document research progress, analyze data, and prepare detailed technical reports and publications.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other team members to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- M.Tech/M.E. in Chemical Engineering with a valid GATE score.
- OR B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with a valid GATE score and a minimum CGPA of 8.0/10.0.
- The maximum age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Female/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India (GOI) norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Combustion Modelling, or Chemical Kinetics.
- Proficiency with simulation software such as ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, and CHEMKIN.
- Foundational knowledge of Rocket Propulsion and Energetic Nanoparticles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific documentation skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- per month. In addition to the fellowship, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the prevailing Government of India norms.
