Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Programme Management Unit (PMU) for the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) project.
- Coordinate directly with the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE) and other key government agencies.
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Manage stakeholder communications and ensure transparent reporting on project milestones and outcomes.
- Ensure all project deliverables are met on time and within the defined scope.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project team.
- Facilitate the smooth execution of all programme-related activities and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- An MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc. & AH degree with a post-graduate degree or diploma in management or public health.
- OR a B.E./B.Tech. degree with a post-graduate degree or diploma in management.
- OR a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in project or programme management, preferably within the health or social sector.
- Age must not exceed 45 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the field of substance use, addiction, or drug demand reduction.
- Demonstrable experience working on projects with central or state government agencies.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹1,00,000/-.
This is a contractual role, initially for a period of one year, with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
