Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop System on Chip (SoC) based data acquisition and controller systems.
- Conduct FPGA-based system design using VHDL/Verilog programming languages.
- Create and test high-speed mixed-signal circuit designs.
- Undertake Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout, design, and implementation.
- Perform Embedded C programming for microcontrollers and system control.
- Collaborate effectively with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to meet project milestones.
- Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and contribute to publications.
Required Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university.
- Age must be between 21 and 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience with FPGA-based system design.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages like VHDL or Verilog.
- Knowledge of high-speed mixed-signal circuit design principles.
- Demonstrable experience in multi-layer PCB design.
- Strong skills in Embedded C programming.
- A valid and qualifying score in GATE or CSIR-UGC NET.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly fellowship is structured to reward qualified candidates appropriately. The emoluments are as follows:
- For candidates with a valid GATE/NET qualification: ₹37,000 per month + applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- For other selected candidates: ₹25,000 per month + applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA).
This role provides an excellent stipend while working in a premier research and development environment.
