Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed finite element analysis (FEA) of unreinforced masonry structures.
- Assist the Principal Investigator in assessing the seismic performance of existing buildings.
- Contribute to the development and testing of innovative retrofitting techniques.
- Prepare detailed project reports, research papers, and technical documentation.
- Manage and analyze experimental and numerical data.
- Collaborate with the research team to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in seismic engineering and structural analysis.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with First Class.
- M.E./M.Tech. in Structural Engineering with First Class.
- Maximum age limit of 28 years as of the application deadline. (Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female candidates as per Government of India norms).
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid GATE score is highly desirable.
- Prior experience or a strong theoretical background in finite element methods and structural dynamics.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship as per the following structure:
Monthly Fellowship: ₹37,000/- per month.
House Rent Allowance (HRA): Admissible as per GSDMA/Institute norms.
Duration: The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended up to three years based on performance.
