Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced soft robotic gripper prototypes using software like SolidWorks.

Required Qualifications
- An M.E./M.Tech. degree in Machine Design, CAD/CAM, Robotics, or a related specialization with a minimum of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.5.
- A B.E./B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A valid and qualifying GATE score is mandatory.
- Age limit is determined as per the norms of the sponsoring agency (SERB) and IIT Roorkee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in robotics, machine design, or control systems.
- High proficiency in using software such as MATLAB and SolidWorks for design and simulation.
- Practical knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technologies.
- A strong understanding of soft robotics principles and applications.
Salary and Benefits
The selected Senior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹42,000. In addition to the competitive pay, the position includes a House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the prevailing norms of IIT Roorkee.
