Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute the fabrication of solid-state nanopore devices using cleanroom techniques.
- Operate and maintain advanced equipment, including fluorescence microscopes, for data acquisition and analysis.
- Actively participate in the research and development activities related to early-stage cancer detection.
- Meticulously document experimental procedures, results, and findings for reports and publications.
- Collaborate effectively with the principal investigator and other team members to meet project milestones.

Required Qualifications
- A first-class postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) in Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering.
- OR A second-class postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering.
- OR A first-class four-year engineering graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology.
- The candidate’s age must not exceed 35 years as of the interview date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in device fabrication, particularly within a cleanroom environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the specific area of solid-state nanopore fabrication.
- Proficiency in handling and operating high-resolution fluorescence microscopes.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a total monthly emolument of ₹72,800. This package consists of a consolidated salary of ₹56,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per DST norms. The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended based on the candidate’s performance and project requirements.
