Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level neuroscience research focusing on epileptogenesis within a SERB-funded project framework.
- Employ a range of laboratory techniques, including animal handling, animal surgery, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and molecular biology.
- Perform systematic data collection, rigorous analysis, and proper documentation of research findings.
- Assist the Principal Investigator in preparing manuscripts for scientific publications and project reports.

Required Qualifications
- A Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Life Science, Biotechnology, or Neuroscience from a recognized university. OR
- A Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with a specialization in Pharmacology.
- The candidate’s age must not exceed 28 years as of the interview date. Age relaxation is applicable for deserving candidates as per SERB/Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience in a relevant field such as neuroscience or pharmacology is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with animal handling, small animal surgery, and related pre-clinical research models.
- Proficiency in key laboratory techniques like immunohistochemistry (IHC) and molecular biology methods.

Salary and Benefits
The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a competitive compensation package designed to support their research journey.
Base Salary: A consolidated monthly pay of ₹31,000.
Allowances: An additional 24% House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided over and above the base salary.
