Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-efficiency Gallium Nitride (GaN) based DC-DC converters.
- Create and test Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts specifically for power electronic applications.
- Conduct advanced simulations using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or Ansys.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot prototypes, and document findings meticulously.
- Prepare research manuscripts for publication in high-impact Science Citation Index (SCI) journals.
- Collaborate with the project team to meet research milestones and deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GaN technology and power converter design.
Required Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- OR an M.Tech / M.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with at least three years of research, teaching, or design and development experience.
- A minimum of one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal is mandatory.
- The candidate must be between 21 and 45 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per institutional norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in the design and testing of power electronics converters.
- Strong proficiency in PCB layout and design for power applications.
- Expertise in using simulation software like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSCAD, or Ansys.
- Specialized knowledge of Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor devices and their applications.
Salary and Benefits
The selected Research Associate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 58,000. In addition, a House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the prevailing institutional norms, offering competitive compensation for your expertise.
