Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced molecular biology experiments, including genomics, proteomics, and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).
- Manage and analyze complex multi-omics data sets using relevant bioinformatics tools.
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers.
- Contribute to scientific writing, including the preparation of research papers, reports, and project updates.
- Ensure all research activities adhere to the guidelines and protocols set by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
- Handle and process biological samples (stool) for downstream analysis.
Required Qualifications
- A First Class Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. or M.Tech) in a Life Sciences field such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Human Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Zoology.
- A minimum of three years of relevant research experience after completing the Post Graduate degree.
- Alternatively, a PhD in any of the above-mentioned Life Sciences subjects.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, genomics, or proteomics.
- Prior research experience in cancer biology, particularly in colorectal cancer studies.
