Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage research activities for the ICMR-funded primary stroke care project.
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative health research, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  • Collaborate with public health care facilities at primary and secondary levels to ensure project feasibility and scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • A First Class Master’s Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Social Work, or Anthropology.
  • OR A Second Class Master’s Degree with a Ph.D. in the subjects mentioned above.
  • OR A BDS/B.V.Sc & AH degree complemented by a Master’s in Public Health.
  • The maximum age limit for applicants is 40 years as of the interview date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative health research.
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R).
  • Strong scientific writing and communication skills, with a track record of publications being an advantage.
  • Prior experience working on large-scale, funded research projects, particularly in public health.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹67,000, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institutional norms.
