Join the Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health at PGIMER Chandigarh as a Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) for an ICMR-funded research project on chronic kidney disease in rural Haryana. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field research and data collection in rural Haryana for the study on chronic kidney disease.
• Perform statistical analysis using tools like SPSS, R, or STATA to interpret research findings.
• Draft research proposals, reports, and scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and ICMR protocols during research activities.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Science, Life Science, Public Health, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of research experience in public health, epidemiological studies, or related fields.
• Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS/R/STATA) and data analysis.
• Strong scientific writing skills with prior publications or reports.
• Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years (as of May 25, 2024).

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related disciplines.
• Prior experience in community-based health research or chronic disease studies.
• Knowledge of ICMR-funded project workflows and compliance.
• Fieldwork experience in rural health settings.

Salary and Benefits

Monthly Salary: Rs. 67,000/- + 18% HRA (Total Rs. 79,060/-).
