Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded systems and IoT solutions for automated farming equipment.
- Implement robotics, drone technology, and sensor networks for data collection in agricultural fields.
- Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for data analysis and precision agriculture tasks.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and research team to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Manage and maintain project-related hardware and software resources.
Required Qualifications
- For Junior Research Fellow (JRF): A B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or Computer Science Engineering with a valid GATE score, OR an M.Tech/M.E. in a relevant engineering branch.
- For Project Associate-I (PA-I): A B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or Computer Science Engineering from a recognized university.
- Strong foundational knowledge in your core engineering discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with embedded systems and IoT device development.
- Familiarity with robotics, drone technology, and their practical applications.
- Strong programming skills in languages relevant to AI/ML and systems engineering (e.g., Python, C++).
- Prior experience working on research projects, either academic or professional.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration is based on the position and follows DST norms, offering a competitive package.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Project Associate-I: ₹25,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
