Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret tissue samples (histopathology) and cellular specimens (cytopathology) to diagnose cancer and other diseases.
- Prepare detailed and accurate pathology reports to guide clinical treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, surgeons, and radiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in academic activities, including seminars, case discussions, and research projects.
- Uphold laboratory quality control and assurance standards to maintain diagnostic accuracy.
- Assist in training junior residents and medical students rotating through the pathology department.
Required Qualifications
- A postgraduate medical degree of MD / DNB (Pathology) from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Maximum age limit of 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Government of India rules for reserved categories.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a dedicated oncology hospital or cancer research institute.
- Hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic techniques like immunohistochemistry (IHC) and molecular pathology.
- A proven track record of participation in academic research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹1,01,000/-.
