Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain drilling and workover rig machinery and equipment efficiently.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and operational procedures during activities.
- Assist in rig-up and rig-down operations and the general maintenance of the rig site.
- Monitor well conditions and equipment performance, reporting any issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain accurate operational records and logs as required for daily reporting.
- Collaborate with the crew to perform tasks safely and effectively to meet operational targets.
Required Qualifications
- Passed Class 10+2 in any stream from a government-recognized board.
- Must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Petroleum Exploration Technology of a minimum 03 years duration.
- A valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License is mandatory.
- Minimum of 02 years of post-qualification work experience in drilling or workover activities.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years as of the date of the interview.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on onshore drilling or workover rigs.
- Strong understanding of well control principles and safety standards.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting purposes.
Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will receive a competitive contractual remuneration package structured as follows:
Fixed Stipend: ₹ 21,450 per month.
Variable Stipend: ₹ 825 per day for each working day.
Benefits will be provided as per the prevailing norms for contractual personnel at Oil India Limited.
