Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to support experimental design and research objectives.
- Perform laboratory and field-based experiments focused on the development and testing of self-healing concrete.
- Collect, process, and meticulously analyze research data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare detailed project reports, research papers for publication, and presentations for conferences.
- Assist the Principal Investigator with project management, coordination, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols during all research activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Must hold an M.E./M.Tech. in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or another relevant Civil Engineering specialization.
- A minimum academic performance of 65% marks or a 7.0 CGPA in the qualifying master’s degree is mandatory.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwD candidates as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- A valid and qualifying GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a research environment or familiarity with laboratory testing of construction materials.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship and benefits as follows:
- Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): Provided as per the prevailing SERB/Government of India norms, in addition to the fellowship.
