Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement intelligent algorithms for malware and vulnerability detection using Python or C++.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis related to cybersecurity threats in IEC 61850 based systems.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator and research team to meet project milestones.
- Analyze complex datasets related to Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
- Prepare technical documentation, research papers, and periodic project reports.
- Assist in the overall design and integration of the security platform.
Required Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Alternatively, an M.E./M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or other relevant specializations.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years as of the final application date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) concepts.
- A demonstrable interest or prior experience in the field of cybersecurity.
- A valid and qualifying score in GATE or NET examinations.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly remuneration for this position is structured to reward qualified candidates and is supplemented with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institute norms.
For candidates with a valid GATE/NET score: ₹ 37,000/- per month + HRA.
For other selected candidates: ₹ 25,000/- per month + HRA.
