Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various molecular biology experiments, including PCR, Western Blotting, and DNA/RNA isolation.
- Manage and maintain patient-derived cell cultures, ensuring their viability and integrity for research.
- Assist senior researchers with the handling of laboratory animals as per ethical guidelines.
- Perform meticulous data collection, analysis, and documentation of experimental results.
- Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and contribute to the preparation of reports.
- Collaborate with the research team to troubleshoot experiments and develop new protocols.
Required Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc.) or a Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc).
- OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university.
- The maximum age limit is 40 years as of the date of the walk-in interview.
- Age relaxation for eligible candidates will be applied as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with core molecular biology techniques.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing and working with cell cultures.
- Prior experience in the ethical handling of laboratory animals for research purposes.
- Qualification in national eligibility tests such as UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or GATE is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for the Project Associate-I position is structured based on qualifications and experience.
- For candidates qualified in national eligibility tests (NET/GATE): ₹31,000 per month + 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- For other selected candidates: ₹25,000 per month + 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
