Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and assistance during research procedures involving rat models.
- Collect, process, and manage biological samples as per project protocols.
- Operate and maintain specialized lab equipment required for the study.
- Meticulously record and manage all experimental data and patient information.
- Assist senior researchers and investigators with daily project activities.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and ethical guidelines within the laboratory.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- For Project Nurse: Must have completed Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- For Project Technical Support – III: A three-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology OR a Graduate degree with at least three years of relevant experience OR a Post Graduate degree.
- Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 35 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a clinical research environment or a similar scientific project.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and data management practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills in English and proficiency in Kannada.
Salary and Benefits
NIMHANS offers a competitive consolidated salary based on the position. The remuneration is inclusive of a House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per central government norms.
- Project Nurse: ₹18,000/- per month + 27% HRA.
- Project Technical Support – III: ₹28,000/- per month + 27% HRA.
