Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the brain banking facility.
- Perform human brain dissection and tissue processing for cryopreservation and fixation.
- Conduct advanced histopathology and immunocytochemistry procedures on processed tissues.
- Execute molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction and analysis.
- Maintain meticulous records of samples, experiments, and results.
- Assist in data analysis, manuscript preparation, and project reporting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Candidates must possess one of the following:
- A 1st Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry from a recognized University.
- A 2nd Class M.Sc combined with a Ph.D. in a relevant subject from a recognized University.
- A BDS or B.V.Sc degree with one year of relevant research experience.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India/ICMR norms.

- Prior hands-on experience in human brain banking.
- Proficiency in brain dissection and tissue processing for cryopreservation.
- Demonstrated skills in histopathology and immunocytochemistry techniques.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of ₹56,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable. This is a contractual position for an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
