Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive information security strategy and framework for the entire organization.
• Formulate and enforce robust cybersecurity policies, protocols, and best practices to protect sensitive data and critical IT infrastructure.
• Direct IT risk management programs, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits against standards like ISO 27001.
• Oversee the company’s incident response and threat intelligence capabilities to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including guidelines from IRDAI.
• Manage and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness across the company.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. MCA graduates are also eligible.
• A mandatory professional certification from at least one of the following: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the Information Technology sector.
• At least 8 years of dedicated experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Age must be between 40 and 55 years as of April 1, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Substantial experience working within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.
• A proven track record of successfully managing cybersecurity for a large-scale enterprise.
• Deep familiarity with the regulatory landscape of the Indian insurance industry.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will be offered a competitive, consolidated monthly remuneration package.

Monthly Salary: Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs). This amount is negotiable based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and performance in the interview.
Employment Type: This is a contractual position, initially for a term of three years. The contract may be extended for up to two additional years based on performance and organizational requirements.
