Key Responsibilities
- Provide techno-managerial support to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) and state governments for implementing National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS).
- Design and manage quality improvement initiatives such as LaQshya (Labour Room Quality Improvement Initiative) and MusQan (Muskaan Quality Improvement Initiative for child health).
- Develop comprehensive training materials, operational guidelines, and assessment tools for healthcare quality programs.
- Conduct regular assessments and monitoring of health facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Facilitate the development of policies and strategies related to healthcare quality improvement at the national level.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government officials, development partners, and healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- A medical (MBBS), AYUSH, or Dental degree complemented by a post-graduate degree or diploma in Public Health, Hospital Management, or Healthcare Management.
- Alternatively, a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics is also acceptable.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Health Quality after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.
- The age of the applicant must not exceed 50 years as of the last date of application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working with National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) or National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) standards.
- Proven track record in developing training modules and conducting capacity-building workshops.
