Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of all project phases, from planning and design to commissioning.
- Direct and manage multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee contract management, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Liaise with various government bodies, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and ensure smooth project progression.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites.
- Drive strategic planning and provide expert technical guidance to the board and senior management.
Required Qualifications
- A full-time Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.
- A minimum of 25 years of executive or Group ‘A’ service experience within the Civil Engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience serving in a senior management capacity (SAG level or equivalent in PSUs/Railways).
- Extensive, hands-on experience in the planning, design, and implementation of large-scale metro rail projects, including both underground and elevated structures.
- Minimum age of 45 years and maximum age of 57 years as of May 1, 2024.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Postgraduate Degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a competitive remuneration package within the E9 IDA Pay Scale. The monthly salary is Rs. 1,80,000 – Rs. 3,40,000/-. In addition to the base salary, the role includes other allowances and benefits as per MMRCL corporate policy, such as HRA, medical benefits, and leave encashment.
