Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature surveys to identify research gaps and inform project direction.
- Design, simulate, and test electronic circuits and systems relevant to the project scope.
- Implement and validate designs using hardware description languages (Verilog/VHDL) on FPGA platforms.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to draw meaningful conclusions.
- Document research progress, prepare detailed technical reports, and contribute to writing scholarly articles for publication.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator and other team members to meet project milestones.
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment and research facilities.
Required Qualifications
- A first-class B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
- A first-class M.E./M.Tech degree in a relevant specialization such as ECE, VLSI Design, or Embedded Systems.
- A valid and qualifying GATE score is mandatory.
- Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) is applicable as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Verilog/VHDL programming and digital design flows.
- Practical knowledge of FPGA implementation and testing.
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming for microcontrollers or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with industry-standard simulation and design tools (e.g., MATLAB, Cadence, Vivado).
Salary and Benefits
The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship as per SERB guidelines.
Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month
House Rent Allowance (HRA): Provided as per Institute and SERB norms.
Total Approximate Emoluments: ₹42,920 per month (inclusive of HRA).
