Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) based components for advanced communication systems.
- Conduct comprehensive electromagnetic simulations using industry-standard software like ANSYS HFSS, Keysight ADS, or CST Microwave Studio.
- Perform experimental validation, measurements, and characterization of fabricated components.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Document research progress and findings meticulously for project reports and scholarly publications.
- Assist in lab management and maintenance of project-related equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Must possess a B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and an M.E./M.Tech in RF & Microwave Engineering, VLSI System Design, or Communication Systems.
- Academic Performance: Candidates must have secured a First Class distinction in both their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
- Entrance Exam: A valid and qualifying GATE score is mandatory for all applicants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Electromagnetic (EM) Theory and Microwave Engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or Keysight ADS.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship as per SERB norms:
- First Two Years: ₹ 37,000/- per month
- Third Year: ₹ 42,000/- per month (contingent on performance and project extension)
Additionally, the appointed JRF is eligible to register for a Ph.D. program at NIT Warangal, providing a direct pathway to a doctoral degree.
