Key Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles, including light and heavy motor vehicles, as per duty requirements.
• Ensure the regular maintenance and upkeep of assigned vehicles, reporting any defects promptly.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials as directed.
• Perform general duties related to the upkeep of ICG stations and vessels for Lascar roles.
• Provide support to technical and operational staff in their daily tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned work areas and equipment.

Required Qualifications

• For Motor Transport Driver: Possession of a valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
• For Lascar: Minimum educational qualification typically requires completion of 8th standard.
• Essential ability to read and understand Hindi and/or English.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Matrix Level 1 to Level 2 (as per 7th CPC), with a starting salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month, plus admissible allowances and benefits as per government rules.
