Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of embedded systems for a portable medical screening device.
• Write, test, and debug code in languages such as C, C++, and Python for system functionality.
• Implement and experiment with AI/ML algorithms for medical image processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with the principal investigator and research team to document project progress and findings.
• Manage day-to-day project tasks, including hardware testing and data collection.
• Ensure project milestones are met according to the established timeline.

Required Qualifications

• A B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CSE), or Instrumentation Engineering. Alternatively, an M.Sc. in Physics or ECE.
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institute.
• The age limit for applicants must be as per the norms set by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

Preferred Qualifications

• A valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or NET (National Eligibility Test) score.
• Proven hands-on programming experience in C, C++, and Python.
• Practical knowledge of embedded systems development and hardware interfacing.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and digital image processing.
• An M.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline is highly desirable.

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹30,000. The final amount will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
