Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level research on landslide susceptibility using advanced analytical methods.
- Process and interpret Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) data for terrain analysis.
- Develop, train, and validate machine learning models for predictive hazard assessment.
- Perform detailed slope stability analysis for Himalayan road corridors.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other team members to meet project milestones.
- Document research findings meticulously for reports and potential publication in academic journals.
- Assist in preparing project presentations and updates for the sponsoring agency.
Required Qualifications
- M.E./M.Tech: A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a clear specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
- B.E./B.Tech: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- GATE Score: A valid and qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score is mandatory.
- Research Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of dedicated research experience after the completion of the M.Tech degree.
- Age Limit: The candidate must be a maximum of 32 years of age as of the application deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in InSAR data processing and analysis.
- Strong practical knowledge of various slope stability analysis methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with building and implementing machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to research, such as Python and/or MATLAB.
Salary and Benefits
The selected Senior Research Fellow will receive a consolidated monthly salary and benefits package designed to support their research focus.
- Consolidated Pay: ₹42,000 per month.
