Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Must possess both B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech degrees in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a 6.0 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) in the qualifying degrees.
- A valid and qualifying GATE score is mandatory for all applicants.
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Female/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
- Prior hands-on experience with experimental research, data acquisition systems, and laboratory instrumentation.
- Familiarity with simulation and data analysis software such as MATLAB, COMSOL, or similar platforms.
- A demonstrated interest in research through projects, internships, or publications.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates for the Junior Research Fellow position will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship of ₹37,000. In addition to the fellowship, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the rules of the institute.
