Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate hardware and software components for advanced AI and robotics systems, particularly focusing on drones.
• Implement, test, and debug algorithms using Robot Operating System (ROS), Python, and C++.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and engineers to meet project milestones.
• Manage system-level design, simulation, and deployment in a Linux-based environment.
• Document technical specifications, system performance, and project progress for review.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues during the system integration phase.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of robotic systems for societal applications.

Required Qualifications

• For Senior System Engineer (01 Post):
  • M.E./M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 4 years of experience.
  • OR B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 6 years of experience.
• For System Engineer (02 Posts):
  • M.E./M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 2 years of experience.
  • OR B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 4 years of experience.
• Eligible Engineering Disciplines: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Science.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with drone hardware integration and system development.
• Strong proficiency in Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Advanced programming skills in Python and C++.
• Solid understanding and working experience with the Linux operating system.
• Experience with simulation tools used in robotics and AI.

Salary and Benefits

The remuneration is competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary structure is as follows:
Senior System Engineer: Rs. 51,000/- per month + HRA as per institute norms.
System Engineer: Rs. 43,000/- per month + HRA as per institute norms.
This is a contractual position tied to the duration and needs of the project.
