Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in postgraduate and doctoral programs.
- Conduct and publish original, high-impact research in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
- Develop and update curriculum, create innovative course materials, and engage in case writing.
- Supervise and mentor doctoral students and research associates.
- Contribute to institutional development by participating in committee work and administrative activities.

Required Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a reputed university with a first-class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree and a consistently strong academic record.
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 4 years as an Associate Professor.
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience, with at least 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or industry experience.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Recently awarded Ph.D. candidates may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- A proven track record of publications in A-star or A-category academic journals.
- Experience in guiding doctoral research and securing research grants.
- Significant industry experience or involvement in high-level consulting assignments.
- International exposure through teaching or research collaborations.
Salary and Benefits
IIM Udaipur offers a competitive salary package as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) norms. The pay scales are as follows:
- Professor: Academic Pay Level 14A (₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200)
- Associate Professor: Academic Pay Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300)
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Academic Pay Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,04,700)
- Assistant Professor Grade-II: Academic Pay Level 12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400)
Additional benefits include a Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA), health insurance, and other allowances as per IIM norms.
