Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement robust quality assurance protocols for various aircraft systems and accessories.
- Provide expert consultation on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) procedures.
- Guide and mentor technical teams to resolve complex engineering challenges effectively.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with stringent defence and aerospace industry standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for management review.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure seamless servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Analyse system performance data to recommend improvements and efficiency enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- A full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology (or its equivalent) in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Electronics from a recognized university.
- Must be a retired official from the Indian Defence Services, preferably the Indian Air Force.
- Demonstrable, extensive experience in Quality Assurance, maintenance, and servicing of aircraft systems.
- The upper age limit for applicants is 62 years as of June 14, 2024.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with specific aircraft systems handled by the HAL Accessories Division.
- Prior experience in a technical advisory or consulting capacity post-retirement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
Salary and Benefits
This position offers a competitive consolidated monthly remuneration based on the grade. As this is a contractual role, the salary is all-inclusive.
- Consultant (Grade-V): ₹50,000/- per month.
- Consultant (Grade-IV): ₹45,000/- per month.
