Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research in key areas of cybersecurity, including network security, cryptography, and cyber forensics.
- Assist in developing and disseminating educational materials for information security awareness programs.
- Analyze emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities to contribute to project objectives.
- Collaborate with the project team to prepare research papers, reports, and technical documentation.
- Handle and experiment with security analysis tools like Wireshark, Nmap, and Metasploit.
- Support senior researchers and project leaders in day-to-day project activities and milestones.
Required Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree.
- An M.E./M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, CSE, or Cyber Security.
- A valid and qualified GATE or NET score is mandatory.
- The maximum age limit is 28 years.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PH candidates will be applicable as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Network Security, Cryptography, Cyber Forensics, and Secure Coding.
- Hands-on experience with security analysis and penetration testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit).
- A keen interest in Machine Learning applications for cybersecurity.
- Prior experience in academic research, evidenced by publications or project work.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a competitive fellowship designed to support their research endeavors.
Monthly Fellowship: ₹37,000 per month.
Additional Allowance: House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per Government of India norms, in addition to the monthly fellowship.
