The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has announced 11 vacancies for Assistant Law Officers, Junior Environmental Engineers, Scientific Assistants, Multi-Tasking Staff, and Lab Attendants in Goa. Key Responsibilities

• Assistant Law Officer
  • Draft and review legal documents related to environmental regulations.
  • Represent GSPCB in legal proceedings and compliance matters.
  • Advise on pollution control laws and policies.
• Junior Environmental Engineer
  • Monitor industrial and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct field inspections and prepare technical reports.
  • Assist in pollution control initiatives and regulatory enforcement.
• Scientific Assistant
  • Perform laboratory tests and environmental sample analysis.
  • Maintain scientific equipment and record data accurately.
  • Assist in research and report preparation.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) & Lab Attendant
  • Provide administrative and logistical support.
  • Assist in laboratory maintenance and sample handling.
  • Perform general office duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Assistant Law Officer:
  • Post-graduate degree in Law (LLM preferred).
  • Minimum age: 18 years, Maximum age: 45 years (relaxation as per norms).
• Junior Environmental Engineer:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Age limit: 18–45 years.
• Scientific Assistant:
  • Degree in Environmental Science/Chemistry/Life Sciences.
  • Age limit: 18–45 years.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) & Lab Attendant:
  • 10th pass or ITI certificate.
  • Age limit: 18–45 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in government/regulatory roles.
• Knowledge of Goa’s environmental laws.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

Salary and Benefits

Junior Environmental Engineer | ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
Scientific Assistant | ₹29,200 – ₹92,300
