- For Senior Resident: A Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty or an MBBS degree with relevant experience.
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council.
- Age Limit (as of 04.06.2024):
- Full-Time Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years.
- Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years.

- Prior experience working in a government or public sector hospital.

Salary and Benefits

- Full-Time Specialist: Rs. 1,30,797/- per month (Consolidated).
- Part-Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000/- per month (for 4 hours/day, 5 days/week).
- Senior Resident: Basic Pay of Rs. 67,700/- in Level 11 of the pay matrix, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances.
The overall salary range is approximately Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,30,797/- per month.
