Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- For Junior Research Fellow (JRF): B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with a valid NET/GATE score, https://www.thementor.co.in/blog/gate-exam-preparation-guide OR M.E./M.Tech in ECE. An M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics with a valid NET score is also acceptable.
- For Research Associate (RA): Ph.D. in Physics/Applied Physics specializing in Microwave Tubes, OR M.E./M.Tech in ECE/Microwave Engineering with a minimum of three years of relevant research experience.
- Age Limit (JRF): The maximum age limit is 28 years.
- Age Limit (RA): The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates is applicable as per government regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior research experience or a relevant internship in a government research facility.
- Publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journals, especially for the RA position.
- Hands-on experience with simulation software like CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a competitive monthly stipend along with other allowances as per DRDO norms.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Research Associate (RA): ₹67,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
