Key Responsibilities
- Synthesize carbon fibre materials and conducting polymers as per project requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble micro-supercapacitor devices for testing and analysis.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, including potentiostats and galvanostats.
- Collect, document, and meticulously analyze experimental data.
- Prepare regular progress reports for the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in maintaining lab inventory and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the research team to troubleshoot experimental challenges.
Required Qualifications
- A first-class Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- OR A first-class B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Electronics from a recognized university.
- Strong foundational knowledge in basic sciences and electronics.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to experimental work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with electrochemical instruments like a potentiostat or galvanostat.
- Practical knowledge in the synthesis of conducting polymers or related materials.
- Prior experience working within a cleanroom facility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected Project Technician-I will receive a consolidated monthly fellowship of ₹24,800. This amount includes a base salary of ₹20,000 per month plus a 24% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
