Key Responsibilities
- Conduct molecular biology experiments related to the project titled “Deciphering the regulatory mechanism of AtNUDX2 in chloroplast development and abiotic stress responses.”
- Perform data collection, compilation, and analysis using modern bioinformatics tools.
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records, protocols, and experimental results.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and research publications.
- Manage and execute tasks related to plant tissue culture as required by the project.
- Collaborate effectively with the Principal Investigator and other team members to meet research objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Botany, Life Science, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry from a recognized university.
- A minimum aggregate score of 55% in the qualifying M.Sc. degree.
- The candidate must be a maximum of 28 years of age as of the application’s last date.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates is applicable as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience in a laboratory setting with molecular biology techniques.
- Qualification in national-level examinations such as NET or GATE.

Salary and Benefits
The selected Research Assistant will receive a consolidated monthly salary of ₹23,600. This amount includes a basic pay of ₹20,000 per month plus an 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
