Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree (M.Sc. Ag.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding or Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology.
• Must possess a 4-year or 5-year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant agricultural science field.
• Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree must have a valid UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or an equivalent certification.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates.

• Prior research experience in rice breeding and genetics.
• Hands-on experience with molecular breeding techniques and tools.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting and managing agricultural field experimentation.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a competitive, consolidated monthly salary with provisions for House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per project guidelines.

• For the 1st and 2nd Year: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA
• For the 3rd Year: ₹42,000/- per month + HRA
