Key Responsibilities
- Project Research Scientist-I: Lead and coordinate research activities, manage data collection protocols, analyze findings, and prepare scientific reports and manuscripts for publication.
- Project Technical Support-III: Conduct community outreach, engage with study participants, perform field-level data collection using surveys and interviews, and ensure data quality.
- Project Technical Support-II: Collect and process biological samples, perform laboratory tests as per project guidelines, maintain lab equipment, and manage inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Project Research Scientist-I (Medical): Must possess an MBBS, BDS, or BAMS degree from a university recognized by the Government of India. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Project Technical Support-III: A Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Anthropology with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR a Postgraduate degree in these subjects. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Project Technical Support-II: Must have passed 12th grade in the Science stream and hold a Diploma in MLT/DMLT, along with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on community-based research projects or studies funded by ICMR.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (like SPSS, R) for Scientist roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with community members.
- Hands-on experience with modern laboratory techniques for Technical Support roles.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration is offered as a consolidated monthly salary, inclusive of House Rent Allowance (HRA), and varies by position.
- Project Research Scientist-I (Medical): ₹71,120 per month
- Project Technical Support-III: ₹35,560 per month
- Project Technical Support-II: ₹25,400 per month
As these are contractual project-based roles, other benefits will be as per the norms of AIIMS and ICMR.
