The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has announced 11 vacancies for Assistant Law Officers, Junior Environmental Engineers, Scientific Assistants, Multi-Tasking Staff, and Lab Attendants in Goa. Key Responsibilities
- Assistant Law Officer
- Draft and review legal documents related to environmental regulations.
- Represent GSPCB in legal proceedings and compliance matters.
- Advise on pollution control laws and policies.
- Junior Environmental Engineer
- Monitor industrial and environmental compliance.
- Conduct field inspections and prepare technical reports.
- Assist in pollution control initiatives and regulatory enforcement.
- Scientific Assistant
- Perform laboratory tests and environmental sample analysis.
- Maintain scientific equipment and record data accurately.
- Assist in research and report preparation.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) & Lab Attendant
- Provide administrative and logistical support.
- Assist in laboratory maintenance and sample handling.
- Perform general office duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Assistant Law Officer:
- Post-graduate degree in Law (LLM preferred).
- Minimum age: 18 years, Maximum age: 45 years (relaxation as per norms).
- Junior Environmental Engineer:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Age limit: 18–45 years.
- Scientific Assistant:
- Degree in Environmental Science/Chemistry/Life Sciences.
- Age limit: 18–45 years.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) & Lab Attendant:
- 10th pass or ITI certificate.
- Age limit: 18–45 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in government/regulatory roles.
- Knowledge of Goa’s environmental laws.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

Junior Environmental Engineer | ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
Scientific Assistant | ₹29,200 – ₹92,300
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) & Lab Attendant | ₹18,000 – ₹56,900
