Key Responsibilities
- Execute molecular biology and yeast genetics experiments as per the project’s requirements.
- Perform protein purification, handling, and analysis using standard laboratory techniques.
- Collect, organize, and meticulously analyze scientific data under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, protocols, and experimental results.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of laboratory equipment.

Required Qualifications
- A Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or any allied area from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying degree.
- Must be below 28 years of age as of the application deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on research experience in yeast genetics, molecular biology, or a related field.
- Qualification in a national eligibility test such as CSIR/UGC-NET (including lectureship) or GATE.
- Practical skills and experience in protein purification techniques.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly fellowship for the Project Associate-I position is structured based on qualifications:
– For candidates with CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE qualification: ₹31,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
– For other selected candidates: ₹25,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA).
HRA will be provided as per the prevailing norms of the University of Hyderabad.
