Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Assistant-C (Medical Laboratory Technician): Perform complex laboratory tests, analyze biological samples, and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment to support research and healthcare services.
- Scientific Assistant-B (Physiotherapist): Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans, and maintain detailed records of patient progress.
- Scientific Assistant-B (Mechanical): Assist in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment for various scientific experiments and institutional projects.
- Document all procedures, experiments, and results accurately and systematically.

Required Qualifications
- Scientific Assistant-C (Medical Laboratory Technician): B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) with a minimum of 60% marks OR B.Sc. with DMLT (Diploma in Medical Lab Technology).
- Scientific Assistant-B (Physiotherapist): Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
- Scientific Assistant-B (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 years after SSC) with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a government research institute, PSU, or a reputed hospital.
- For the Physiotherapist role, experience in a clinical or hospital setting is highly desirable.
- For the Mechanical role, familiarity with CAD software and hands-on experience with workshop machinery.

Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will be appointed with a competitive salary based on the 7th Central Pay Commission matrix.
- Scientific Assistant-C: Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 per month). The starting salary will be approximately ₹44,900.
- Scientific Assistant-B: Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month). The starting salary will be approximately ₹35,400.
In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to other government allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).
