Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and workshops in Production or Automation Engineering disciplines.
- Develop and update course curriculum, study materials, and lesson plans to meet industry standards.
- Conduct and grade student assessments, including examinations, assignments, and practical tests.
- Supervise and mentor students on academic projects and laboratory work.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure a safe, effective learning environment.
- Assist in departmental administrative duties and contribute to academic committees.
Required Qualifications
- A B.E./B.Tech degree in Production, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- An M.E./M.Tech degree in Tool Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or an equivalent field.
- An M.Sc. in a relevant specialization may also be considered.
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years as of the interview date.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching or training experience at a technical institute or university.
- Hands-on industry experience in tool design, manufacturing, PLC programming, or robotics.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software like CAD/CAM, MATLAB, or automation simulation tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary.
- Consolidated Pay: ₹ 57,700/- per month.
- As this is a contract position, other benefits will be as per the norms of the Central Institute of Tool Design.
