Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research on surface texturing, nanofluid MQL, and hard turning processes.
- Develop and validate computational models using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEM (Finite Element Method).
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex experimental and computational data.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, research papers, and presentations on project findings.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment and research facilities.
Required Qualifications
- M.E. or M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, Fluid, or a related field.
- OR B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a valid and qualifying GATE score.
- A consistent First Class academic record throughout all preceding degrees and examinations.
- The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the application deadline. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female candidates as per Government of India norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Method (FEM) software.
- Hands-on knowledge of Experimental Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer principles, and machining techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting research.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship and benefits package designed to support their research journey:
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹ 37,000/- per month.
- Additional Benefits: House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided as per the prevailing SERB-DST, Government of India norms.
