Key Responsibilities
- Scientific Officer (Medical Physicist/Computer Programmer): Execute project-specific research, manage data, develop software, and ensure the proper functioning of medical equipment.
- Pharmacist ‘B’: Dispense medications accurately, manage pharmacy inventory https://thementor.co.in/pharmacist-jobs-government-hospitals/, counsel patients on drug usage, and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Technician (Radio-Diagnosis/Mechanical/Electrical): Operate and maintain specialized diagnostic https://thementor.co.in/careers-in-medical-technology/ or facility equipment, perform quality control checks, and assist senior staff in technical procedures.
- General Duties: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain detailed records and documentation, and adhere to all safety and quality protocols of the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Medical Physicist): M.Sc. in Medical Physics or an equivalent qualification.
- Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Computer Programmer): B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or an M.Sc. in a relevant field.
- Technician ‘C’ (Radio-Diagnosis): B.Sc. in Radiography or a related field with relevant experience.
- Pharmacist ‘B’: B.Pharm with minimum 1-year experience OR D.Pharm with minimum 3 years experience. Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
- Technician ‘A’ (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant hands-on experience.
- Technician ‘A’ (Electrical): H.S.C. (12th Std) in Science plus an ITI certificate in the Electrical trade.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be a maximum of 35 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a hospital, especially in a cancer research or treatment facility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Proficiency in using hospital management information systems (HMIS).
- For technical roles, familiarity with the latest industry-specific equipment and software.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for these contractual positions is competitive and fixed on a monthly basis. The pay structure is determined by the specific role:
- Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Medical Physicist/Computer Programmer): ₹40,000/- per month.
- Technician ‘C’ (Radio-Diagnosis): ₹26,022/- per month.
- Pharmacist ‘B’: ₹23,218/- per month.
- Technician ‘A’ (Mechanical/Electrical): ₹23,218/- per month.
