Key Responsibilities
- Execute advanced molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and data analysis.
- Manage and maintain cell cultures for various experimental procedures.
- Contribute to the development and standardization of diagnostic assays.
- Meticulously document research findings, prepare reports, and assist in manuscript writing.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment.
Required Qualifications
- First-class Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- Alternatively, a second-class M.Sc. with a Ph.D. in a relevant subject.
- Or, a Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology (ME/M.Tech) in Biotechnology.
- The age limit for applicants is up to 35 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and sequencing.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 56,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per ICMR guidelines.
