Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical assistance to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and state governments.
- Support the strategic planning, rollout, and monitoring of Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) programmes.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to prepare insightful technical and policy briefs.
- Appraise State Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs) to ensure alignment with national health goals.
- Undertake regular field visits to monitor programme implementation and provide supportive supervision.
- Analyze health data to generate reports and provide evidence-based recommendations for programme improvement.
- Assist in developing training materials and building the capacity of state and district-level health officials.
Required Qualifications
- A graduation degree in Medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS), AYUSH, or Nursing (B.Sc).
- A postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Public Health, Health Management, Community Health, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in Health Systems Research or in the planning and implementation of public health programmes.
- Age limit of up to 45 years as of the application’s last date. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Preferred Qualifications
- An MD in Community Medicine or Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience working with central or state government health departments.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and report writing.
Salary and Benefits
The remuneration for the Consultant position is highly competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Salary Range: ₹60,000 to ₹1,20,000 per month.
